give up and step on.

December 20, 2012

This path is like getting on to a train that you cannot get off, you ride it on and on and on. Stepping on  the path involves you in a continual growth, which may be painful so you sometimes step off the path – it can just get too close to the heart, too penetrating, too vulnerable.

Therefore, give up the questioner and the answer. Give up the checking mechanism that tells you whether you are doing well or not doing well, “Am I doing alright? Am I getting somewhere? Am I too sensitive or too rational?”. Cut through the ego-oriented situations and questions of the mind.

Acknowledge that you are intelligent and courageous and re-learn to trust your heart.

light in heart
