Hold your emotions tenderly

June 9, 2010

**Ram Dass interviews Thicht Nhat Hanh at the State of the World Forum**

We learn to take good care of our emotions by breathing mindfully into them. Acknowledgement of emotions can actually dissipate their power and energetic hold over us.

This truth is power. It is transformative and begins and ends with our breath. Remember that no effort is wasted along the transformative journey. Each and every little step lends itself to a complete blossoming of a full heart!

Yoga has little to do with asana and physical movement. Let go of ego, notice emotions and be grateful for attention to breath and intention to change.
